Foreign language teachers without B2 certification may be dismissed

In the Republic of Uzbekistan, foreign language teachers working in general secondary, secondary specialized, and professional educational institutions are required to hold a B2 certificate. It is proposed to terminate the employment contracts with teachers who do not have such a certification. This measure is being implemented to improve the quality of foreign language teaching. Relevant decisions are currently being prepared on this matter. With the adoption of this decision, the qualifications of teachers will be ensured at a high level.
