Six climbers died while ascending Mount Elbrus in Russia's Kabardino-Balkaria region. Five of them were citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the deceased may include others from a different group. According to preliminary information, the tragedy was caused by a sharp deterioration in weather conditions and cold temperatures. While the tragedy left several climbers stranded, it posed a threat to their lives. The Russian search and rescue service is conducting investigations regarding the incident.
