Citizens awarded Group I or II disability may have their disability pension granted proactively. The Senate discussed a law aimed at improving the pension assignment process. According to it, a disability pension will be assigned proactively without a separate application from the citizen due to the awarding of Group I or II disability. Additionally, for citizens with at least one year of work experience after the pension is assigned, their disability pension will be automatically recalculated every two years without requiring an application.
