The Ministry of Internal Affairs Launches Electronic Consent Platform

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan plans to launch an electronic consent platform. This platform will enable minors to obtain biometric passports for traveling abroad, allow individuals aged 15-18 to independently travel abroad, and provide the opportunity for those under 16 to receive ID cards. Processes such as registration or deregistration, leaving for permanent residence abroad, and temporarily registering foreign citizens will also be formalized electronically. This approach is expected to create a number of benefits for citizens.
