The average temperature in Uzbekistan during July was 1.3−2.3 °C higher than usual. Extreme heat peaked on July 18−19, setting new records in several regions. In central and eastern regions, the number of days with temperatures of 40 °C or higher ranged from 3 to 8 days, while in other places it was from 9 to 18 days. This situation may negatively affect agriculture and other sectors.
