Criminal case opened against individuals storing expired medicines in Karmana district

In Karmana district, it was revealed that expired and substandard medicines were stored in 3,441 packages of 37 types in a house located in the 'Varq' neighborhood, and appropriate measures were taken. The seized medicines are being kept as material evidence. It was reported that a criminal case needs to be initiated regarding this situation. The Government of Uzbekistan is strengthening its fight against substandard medicines in the healthcare sector. Storing expired medicines can pose serious health risks.
