More than half of special economic zones are not exporting.

In Uzbekistan, out of 509 capacities launched in the last three years, 208 have not yet exported. Regarding special economic zones, out of 47 SEZs, 29 have not conducted any exports since the beginning of the year. The export volume from the remaining 18 SEZs does not exceed 500 million dollars. This situation is negatively affecting Uzbekistan's economy. The President has ordered the formation of 'rapid response teams' to address this issue. Through these measures, it is hoped to increase export volumes.
