Mayors will be held personally responsible for the infrastructure of difficult neighborhoods

In Uzbekistan, out of a total of 9,000 neighborhoods, 2,000 have been classified as 'most challenging' based on social and economic indicators. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced this. He also emphasized that mayors will be held personally responsible for addressing issues related to electricity, gas, roads, and water in these neighborhoods in a timely manner. This decision was made with the aim of improving the living standards of the population and developing the infrastructure. The importance of solving the problems in neighborhood infrastructure is increasingly recognized.
