22 Children Returned to Uzbekistan from Abroad

In the first half of 2026, 22 children were returned to Uzbekistan in cooperation with the children's ombudsman and foreign and national authorities. This was announced by the information service of the Deputy to the Oliy Majlis for the Rights of the Child during a briefing. It was specifically noted that the children’s ombudsman has implemented Uzbekistan's goals in protecting children's rights in collaboration with foreign partners. This process is expected to bring significant changes in the lives of children.
