The price of ingredients for preparing plov in Uzbekistan has risen by up to 10 percent

In Uzbekistan's economic situation, the price of ingredients for preparing plov has increased by 7 to 10 percent across regions from July 2025 to July 2026. The highest price increases have been observed in Khorezm, Andijan, and Bukhara regions. For example, last year in July, it cost 106,000 soums to prepare 1 kilo of plov in Khorezm, while this year this figure has reached nearly 118,000 soums. Such price changes have led to discussions among cooks and consumers. The increase in plov preparation ingredients affects the daily lives of our people.
