The President Sets New Tasks to Reduce Crime in Communities

At a meeting chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, new tasks aimed at reducing crime in communities were established. It has been reported that over the past three years, in 1,162 neighborhoods with serious criminogenic situations, there have been no crimes committed in 571 of them this year. Based on this successful experience, a new methodology will be developed, which will first be implemented in neighborhoods with serious criminogenic situations. Furthermore, it is hoped that these innovations will help reduce the level of crime even further.
