The Ministry of Justice has registered the famous national bread type specific to the Fergana region - «Qoqon Patis» as a geographical indication. This decision serves to legally protect the product's traditional name and preparation technology. From now on, «Qoqon Patis» will hold greater significance in maintaining its cultural heritage and regional characteristics.
