During the summer of 2026, unusually high temperatures are being observed in Russia's Arctic regions. On August 1, the air temperature in Olenyok reached +32.7 degrees, while a record +33.9 degrees was recorded at the Shelagonsk meteorological station. Experts believe that the Arctic is warming nearly four times faster than other parts of the planet. This situation is viewed as new signs of climate change and the emergence of the global warming issue.
