1330 boxes of counterfeit drugs identified in Tashkent

During rapid operations carried out in Tashkent city and Tashkent region, 1,330 boxes of counterfeit drugs of 29 types illegally brought from Russia were identified. According to preliminary estimates, the total value of the confiscated products is around 600 million soums. This situation is of significant importance in the fight against illegal trade. The government of Uzbekistan will continue its efforts to combat such activities. Such drugs can be dangerous to health, therefore, it is important to raise public awareness.
