A Million Part of the Ukrainian Population Still Abroad

Dmitriy Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament's Commissioner for Human Rights, has stated that currently more than 8.4 million Ukrainian citizens are living outside the country. He emphasized that protecting the rights of Ukrainian citizens abroad is one of the state’s key responsibilities. Lubinets also highlighted the necessity for every citizen to feel unforgotten and to have confidence in the protection of their rights. Currently, numerous events are being held to support every Ukrainian citizen abroad.
