Responsibility for Allowing a Minor to Operate a Vehicle is Proposed

It is proposed in Uzbekistan's legislation to allow a minor to operate a vehicle. According to this initiative, in addition to the existing penalties for "road hooliganism" committed by individuals who do not have the right to operate a vehicle or have been deprived of this right, legal mechanisms such as seizure or temporary confiscation of the vehicle are envisioned. Such measures are considered important for ensuring road safety and preventing repeated offenses. A new draft law and other measures are being considered to reduce the damage caused.
