Proposal to Set New Qualification Requirements for Private University Rectors

In Uzbekistan, it has been proposed to align the qualification requirements for rectors of non-state higher education institutions with the criteria established for state university leaders. The project may require private university rectors to hold a scientific degree and title, as well as have at least five years of leadership experience. These changes are being implemented with the aim of further improving educational quality. The establishment of new criteria for rectors of non-state higher education institutions will serve to enhance their professional qualifications. Currently, the details of the project are under discussion.
