Last week, Sherzod Khojayev, who was appointed as the Minister of Energy, along with other officials from the sector, reported to the head of state. The report addressed energy supply and future plans. Among the activities carried out by the special headquarters, there are plans to turn the experience of the Yangiyo‘l district into a model for improving electricity and gas supply. Additionally, issues related to preparing areas with limited natural gas supply for the season were also discussed. Furthermore, the possibilities of involving the private sector in providing liquefied gas are being explored.
