The process of obtaining permits for border areas is being simplified

The State Security Service of the Border Troops is simplifying the process for local residents and foreign tourists to obtain a special permit. This special permit allows for acquisition through the Unified Interactive State Services Portal within 10 days. This initiative is expected to come into effect within two months. These measures are aimed at facilitating visits to the mountainous and border areas of Uzbekistan, creating conveniences for both the population and tourists. The State Security Service aims to promote travel to border areas with this initiative.
