A List of 162 Natural Sites Approved for Active Tourism Development

The State Committee for Tourism of Uzbekistan has developed a draft resolution outlining measures for the development of active tourism. This project has formed a list of 162 natural sites with high active tourism potential. This decision opens up new opportunities for further development of Uzbekistan's tourism sector. There is a goal of developing these sites both regionally and internationally. Additional export opportunities and job creation in the tourism sector are expected. These measures are also important for nature conservation and the development of ecotourism.
