1.9 trillion soms of damage caused by illegal sand-gravel extraction from the Chirchiq River bed

Illegal extraction of sand and gravel from the Chirchiq River bed using special equipment without permission resulted in a damage of 1.9 trillion soms. A total of 101,200 cubic meters of sand and gravel were extracted. This situation may seriously jeopardize the river's ecosystem. Currently, in-depth investigations are being conducted regarding this issue, and necessary measures are being taken to identify violations.
