Large Amounts of Waste Accumulating in Philippine River

Workers in Manila are working in the river to collect waste that has overflowed from barriers during continuous heavy rains. A large amount of trash is blocking the river and poses a threat to the environment. During the operation, about 100 workers are collecting waste from the river. This problem has intensified in recent days due to heavy rains. Young people planted by the government and community volunteers are also helping in this effort. Measures for environmental protection and waste reduction are planned to be implemented.
