Funds Allocated to Local Budgets Will Be Increased

Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced new measures aimed at increasing the financial independence of localities. Within the framework of these measures, it is planned to allocate 1.6 trillion som to local budgets this year from additional tax revenues and other sources, and up to 2 trillion som from next year. This decision aims to improve the economic situation of localities and make them more independent. The President's initiative is expected to make a significant contribution to the country’s socio-economic development.
