Uzbekistan to Start Importing Aviation Fuel from Georgia and Iraq

In Uzbekistan, the demand for aviation fuel is expected to reach 375,000 tons during the July-December period. This figure represents a 27% increase compared to last year. Geopolitical tensions have led to an increase in transit flights across Central Asia. A significant portion of the demand will be met by local oil refineries. Additionally, extra imports will be made from Georgia, Iraq, and other countries. These steps are of significant importance for Uzbekistan's fuel security.
