Uzbekistan Plans to Attract IT Giants through a New Legal Regime

A new legal regime will be introduced in Uzbekistan to attract large foreign IT companies and investors. This regime will be established based on the principles of English law for the Enterprise Uzbekistan International Center for Digital Technologies. A special legal environment, flexible tax and customs regimes, as well as guarantees for investment and intellectual property protection will be provided. These changes are considered an important step in the development of Uzbekistan's digital economy. The new legislation aims to create favorable conditions for foreign investors.
