In Uzbekistan, the number of individuals brought to criminal responsibility for corruption-related crimes in 2025 amounted to 7,517. Last year, the highest number of corruption-related crimes were recorded in Andijan, Tashkent, and Kashkadarya regions. Among the cases identified by law enforcement agencies, 580 individuals were from preschool and school education sectors, 404 from local governments and health organizations, 245 from commercial banks, and 161 from higher education institutions. These figures indicate the level of Uzbekistan's fight against corruption. Strengthening anti-corruption measures is expected in 2025.
