Uzbekistan's gold and foreign currency reserves increased by 589.8 million dollars in July, totaling 64.34 billion dollars as of August 1. During the last month, the currency portion of the reserves rose by 208.6 million dollars. The value of the gold portion increased by 365.2 million dollars. Subsequently, the portfolio of securities invested by the regulator decreased by 1.1 billion dollars or 38 percent. This growth indicates stability in the country's economy.
