Discussion on the Production of Hepatitis C Drugs in Uzbekistan

Discussions were held on localizing the production of drugs against Hepatitis C in Uzbekistan. This process is being carried out in collaboration with the Egyptian PHARCO Corporation pharmaceutical company. The project includes discussions on investment, technology transfer, and the local production of the drugs Gratisovir and Ravidasvir by local pharmaceutical companies. This initiative is considered an important step aimed at developing the healthcare sector in Uzbekistan. The local production of these drugs is also expected to increase the availability of pharmaceutical products in the country and reduce the need for imports.
