A new law has been adopted in Uzbekistan for drivers who repeatedly commit serious violations. According to this law, drivers will lose the right to pay their fines with a discount for a certain period. Activities such as road hooliganism, organizing illegal racing, and driving under the influence can result in drivers' vehicles being confiscated for a period of 6 months to 1 year. Additionally, individuals who hand over their vehicles to minors in traffic accidents resulting in serious consequences will be held criminally liable. These changes have been approved in the first reading in the Parliament of Uzbekistan.
