According to the Tashkent City Department of Management of Canals and Neighboring Areas, 63,936 cubic meters of liquid waste were illegally discharged into the Salor canal. It was determined that this waste was thrown into the canal without any permits. As a result, the company will be forced to pay more than 2.2 billion soms in compensation. This incident once again emphasizes the need to increase responsibility between citizens and companies in solving ecological problems. Moreover, there is a necessity to strengthen the requirements for conducting business legally and protecting the environment.
