A New World Record Established at the 'Melon Festival' in Khiva

During the 'Melon Festival – 2026' held in Khiva from August 7 to 9, over 259 varieties of melon were tasted. As a result, the festival entered the Guinness Book of Records in the nomination 'Most Melon Tastings Held at a Festival.' The grand event, featuring exciting programs, attracted not only local but also international guests. Participants were provided with a wealth of information about melons, showcasing their taste and variety, which enhanced the festival's significance. This record further strengthens Uzbekistan's achievements in melon cultivation.
