The licensing procedure in the field of atomic energy has been improved

A new licensing procedure for the use of atomic energy and activities related to sources of ionizing radiation has been approved in Uzbekistan. This new procedure will come into effect on January 1, 2027. The relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers was adopted with the aim of making this process more efficient and transparent. These changes play a crucial role in ensuring the safe use of atomic energy. Notably, the new licensing system is aimed at enhancing the rational use of energy resources.
