A procedure for compensating damages caused by officials' illegal decisions has been established

A new procedure has been established in the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding legal errors made by officials. Material and moral damages caused to individuals or legal entities will be compensated in cash from the regional compensation fund after the court's legally binding decision. This new procedure is also aimed at increasing the legal responsibility of the state. To provide the injured parties with the opportunity to protect their rights, these regulations are expected to come into effect.
