July 2026 was one of the hottest months in Uzbekistan in recent years. The average monthly temperature was 1.3–2.3 degrees higher than the climatic norm in most parts of the republic. In some northern and desert areas, temperatures even rose by 2.5–2.8 degrees. As a result, several meteorological stations broke absolute temperature records. These climatic changes indicate that serious transformations are occurring in Uzbekistan's climate.
