In Uzbekistan, a proposal is being made to implement a 'Siesta' system to adapt the tourism sector to climatic conditions during the summer season. Under this project, tourist facilities in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva may operate on a new schedule from June 1 to August 31. This innovation is expected to create conveniences for tourists. This proposal, aimed at developing tourism in the summer heat, is being well received by tourism industry stakeholders.
