Uzbekistanis earned 330 billion soums from solar electricity

From January to June 2026, 68,600 individuals received subsidies amounting to 330 billion 822 million soums under the 'Sunny Home' program. The largest payment was allocated to Bukhara region, amounting to 61.9 billion soums. Following that, Khorezm region accounted for 60.5 billion soums and the Republic of Karakalpakstan for 38.9 billion soums. These figures demonstrate the growing utilization of solar energy in Uzbekistan, expanding opportunities for individuals to benefit from solar energy.
